Description
Being an amature is really painful. I had a lot of fun drawing this picture but as soon as I see the Transformers drawn by other folk I want to give up and never set pencil to paper again.
My hope was to give Slag a better shape then the usual barrel-body-and-stumpy-legs that I always see in comics and such. I was going to try and make him look more powerful and less clumsy.
I guess he might look that way. I know for sure that he's downright FLAT and one dimentional and my attempts at making him look like a mechanoid are a bit scary.
But like I stated before: I'm forcing myself out of my artistic comfort zones and doing things I've never done before. I hope you enjoy oggling this very first attempt at drawing a Dynobot as much as I enjoyed drawing him. Cheers!

Alrighty, I've gone through some of my comic books and looked on line and studied other Tformer art. I can see where I've gone wrong: everything's too flat. I need to "build" Slag bit-by-bit so that the "mechanoid-ization" looks multi-layered etc. Trying to make him looke mechanical after already having drawn his entire body doesn't work. I'll start with one of his legs and hoofs and see how I get on there.
